Long Filter Life
The filters in IQAir® systems are designed to last longer than those in conventional air cleaners.
High-Efficiency Pre-Filtration
While most air cleaners use pre-filters with particle efficiencies well below 20%, IQAir® systems typically retain over 90% of particle mass in the pre-filter. As a result, IQAir's HEPA and gas phase filter are better protected from premature loading.
Independent Filter Stages
Conventional air cleaners often combine several filter types in one filter cartridge. As a result, the whole cartridge has to be replaced even if only one filter type is used up.
Large Filters
To minimize manufacturing cost, most air cleaners use very little filter material. IQAir uses commercial size filters that are able to collect more pollutants and last longer.
